The Creation - Making Time (1966)

Together for just two years, The Creation began life as mod five-piece The Mark Four before recording this Shel Talmy-produced single in the summer of ‘66. Guitarist Eddie Phllips famously described the band’s sound as “red with purple flashes”, but, as he told MOJO in 1994, “we weren’t really psychedelic. Acid wasn’t our style. We were more your Watneys’ Red Barrel.”

HOLY HELL!

QUALITY.
